W4 Country Idol Karaoke Contest Announces the Winners of Their 2018 Event

The staff at Lewis Jewelers would like to extend their deepest congratulations to the winners of the W4 Country Idol karaoke contest that concluded late last month.

W4 Country Idol is a karaoke contest held by local news station 102.9 FM W4 Country every year, and this year the event took place from Tuesday, June 5 to Friday, June 29. Just like on the hit TV show "American Idol," contestants would sing one song in front of a panel of three judges, who would then decide whether or not the singer would make it to the final round.

The finals for this event took place on Friday, June 29 at the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Marriott at Eagle Crest. Twenty finalists belted it out for a chance to win one of 4 prizes, sponsored by Coors Light, Suburban Chevrolet-Cadillac of Ann Arbor, and Lewis Jewelers:

• 1st place: A 2-year prepaid lease on a Chevrolet Camaro
• 2nd place: A Lewis Jewelers gift card valued at $1,500
• 3rd place: $1,000 in cash
• 4th place: A two-night stay and 18 holes of golf at the Shanty Creek Resort

Additionally, a prize of $1,000 Bubba Bucks was awarded to the finalist who brought the most guests to the final sing-off.
